She offered thoughtful answers that were not only insightful, but functional and achievable. What stayed with me most was her framing of AI in a way that felt hopeful and practical, particularly the idea that while AI may change or eliminate certain roles, it will also create professions we don’t even know exist yet. I also loved the way she described data—not as something clean and perfect, but as intricate, sometimes chaotic pieces that come together to form a bigger picture. Even more than the specific information she shared, I was impacted by who Meena is and how she carries herself. Several times, she paused before answering a question to share the perspective or personal identity she was answering from. That intentionality really struck me. She created space to think more deeply about how we grow alongside AI rather than compete with it, how much of the challenge lies not just in AI outputs but in the systems and people using them, and how we navigate the tension between engaging with the inadequacies already present in our systems and the risks of not engaging at all.
