That's why, you need a thought-partner who can talk to your data "differently" and help you plan your next bold strategy.That strategy where you can reflect your innovation and adaptability. This is where I come in. Community surveys to data collection assessments, I help nonprofits and social impact agencies with mindful research practices for a social justice-centered community.
I believe the purpose of data should be two-fold. One, making it meaningfully inclusive for the community we are serving and two, enabling people around us with research techniques so they ask better questions."
OUR VISION
Our vision is to empower nonprofits to do good with data by centering equity and inclusion in all aspects of their data practices. We believe that data can be a powerful tool for social change, but only if it is collected, analyzed, and applied in ways that promote fairness, justice, and inclusion.
We envision a future where nonprofits are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to collect and analyze data in ways that are responsive to the needs and perspectives of diverse communities. We believe that nonprofits can use data to better understand the challenges faced by marginalized and underrepresented groups, and to design programs and interventions that are tailored to their unique needs.
Our commitment to equity and inclusion extends beyond our work with nonprofits. We seek to build a movement for data-driven social change that is guided by principles of fairness, justice, and inclusion. We believe that by centering equity and inclusion in all aspects of our work, we can create a more just and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
With our vision as our guide, we will continue to learn, innovate, and collaborate with partners across sectors to create a world where data is a force for good, and where everyone has the opportunity to participate fully in society.
Our commitment: As a BIPOC Immigrant-led practice, NamasteData aims to enable all voices that seek and support racial and social justice. To keep this commitment, we offer

consulting services at "pay what you can" model for 3 BIPOC led organizations every 9 months, and

pro-bono 5 1-hr sessions every month to anyone who lost their job due to COVID. Sessions can be around any data/data science related counsel (e.g., resume tweaks for analyst or counsel for work).

Nonprofits need to do good with data in order to effectively measure the impact of their programs and make data-driven decisions. By collecting and analyzing data, nonprofits can identify areas where they are making the most impact, and where they need to improve. This can help them to allocate resources more efficiently, and ultimately, to better serve their mission. Additionally, data can also be used to demonstrate to funders and other stakeholders the effectiveness of the nonprofit's work, which can help to secure funding and support.
